service manual

yep, the helms manual is the 'best' i've found. Very big, expensive, but still is lacking details in the areas i've needed it for.

helm books

Volume 1 [sk32007sm-1] Volume 2 [sk32007sm-2] I bought last Christmas. I paid 169.00 for them delivered. It covers about everything from Body, mechanical and more. I've been an Auto tech for over 34 years and these books aren't to bad. For me worth the money. ED

Helm publishes the manual for GM. It's pretty much as complete as it gets. There are some omissions gear ratios etc that are missing in the original version. I don't know if this has been corrected in the 08 manual.

Go to your dealer to get the service manual, if the parts guy is a nice guy he'll give them to you at a lower price. I paid $105 + tax for my set.

I also see the Helm's manuals on eBay every so often - & they usually go for under $100.
I put them on my watch list just to see what they end up going for & saw one set go for under $60.

here's a link to the saturn bookstore.
Saturn On-line Bookstore: Choose Product Category

07 manual is in stock. 08 manual is not. If you sign up to have them notify you realize that the cow must jump over the moon on a tuesday before they send out notifications
I got mine by persevering and checking the site about once a week untill I finally found it in stock. they notified me about two months later
