I received mine and installed it over the weekend, and from the pictures qwack has it is in pretty much the same location. You can see the lights, but they are small, however, you can see them. For me it helps, at $16 with shipping, you have to decide if it is worth it for you. I don't have to crane my neck to see the lights, so it works for me.

For the side mirror adjustment would it help to pull along side 4 parked cars. Then park along side the first one then adjust the mirror for the 2/3/4/ car or wherever the one in the blind spot is.

Where To Put It?

Thanks nonetheless Phishy, Im sure it will be useful for some Sky owners.
I PURCHASED ONE OF THE "LIGHTNSIGHTS" AND LIKE IT. MY SUGGESTION IS TO PUT IT ABOUT 2 INCHES DOWN FROM THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD AND JUST TO THE LEFT OF THE REAR VIEW MIRROR.

Excellent idea - if you can find such an arrangement of vehicles at your disposal. even if you don't make a change to your setuip at least you woudl get a better idea of exaclty how large your blind spot is - or how far around you have to crane your neck to check you blind spot.

there are also those little stick on mirrors that can be placed on your side mirror with a covex curve to them that help you see if something is in your blind spot - usually used on vans.

or maybe a really, really loud an obnoxious horn, blow the horn and anyone who does not clear out of your blind spot is asking for trouble.
