At what point in the turn do you feel the clunk? Is the steering wheel at it's stop?

Are you sure it's the wheel and not the transmission?

The camber changes so much when you go lock to lock it's not even funny. It binds up the car a lot. At slow speeds with a lot of steering wheel input the cars squal tires and clunck some time. My 07 NA did it a bit more than my 08 RL I think that is just the way they are.

My sky has had a growling sound when turning to the left or right. It has been to the dealer several times and is going back today. They keep saying it is the rear end and keep adding some type of additive. Im about ready to give it back to them.

annoying

So I had the pinion seal replaced and a week later I hear that clunk when making a hard turn at slow speeds

Had this problem with a 2000 Camaro, they did a service and forgot to put in the special additive for limited slip. I'm hoping that's all that happened here. I'll be visiting the dealer to get another opinion.

Tech takes car for test drive, hmm that is odd. Checks fluid level in diff, adds more additive for lsd.
Seems funny but 2 GM cars and both had this issue after a GM service. Please don't bother my tech while he's working on my car!

Did you ever get your problem fixed? Check thread on "funny noise in rear". Did you end up getting the differential replaced?
