Now Rob be nice, we all know it took two year for your car to get its wheels rolling again......
Maybe so, but this project has been going on for over 3 years now, now I admit that this one is quite complicated, using 2 wrecked car (a R/L and a NA) and making one good R/L. The other project that comes to mind that seems to never end is Sky888's "lipstick"...
I also agree that "family" or our children are MORE important than a project like this.. I'd make sure that the girls are taken care of first...

Scott seemed to had stop working on his project for about a year. Antonio also slowed down the process because of other more important matters then his car... Don't know what's my excuse I have been working on Mods for the last 3 year or so, can't seem to stop.... BUT, that's the reason I bought this car, to have something to do after my retirement. Maybe next I'll buy one of those ugly Solstice coupes and chop the top off...

Must agree with Vic...that was the ugliest coupe built...and when they asked me what I thought of it at the last Mecca tour...I actually was polite and said since I am a guest here, I would rather not comment...they insisted. So I told them exactly what Vic stated...so UGLY...and then I went into the design of the Solstice dash....so Ugly...there is someone who took the dash out of the Solstice and put a Sky dash inside...that made a difference in the convertible.
I know I am tugging on Superman's cape, but here goes l l l l
Mike,
I respect your opinion. Wrong as it may be . . ..
I posit that I am uniquely qualified to be a judge of both cars because I actually own one of each.
I like both of them. They are both beautiful, but in their own way. One is hard edged and modern looking. The other is more classical and . . swoopie.
This discussion has been ongoing since the day the first Sky was rolled out.

Not so. You've only got me by three years. I remember this as well.
Do you remember when the "round TV" had a channel one?
I don't..but we got our first TV in 1953--54...cannot remember...we used to go over to my cousins house, he was a Doctor...he had this big huge box of wood and the center had a 5 inch screen.... DUMONT

They stopped using channel 1 in 1948. We didn't have a TV until several years after that, but neighbors had channel 1 TVs.
Do you remember the blue/red/green plastic sheet you would lay over the screen to "simulate" color?
