Yes, it was plastic pressing like a see through record that was basically a continuous spiral prism

Guess I really have to finish it now with all that peer pressure! as part of my excuse for example, was coaching my daughter's soccer team. We had 2x practices a week and game on Saturday. My older daughter had practices 2x a week on the OTHER days, and optional goalkeeping one Friday, so soccer was 6 days a week! Love my girls but holy cow free time was hard to find. now its after midnight...need to get sleep!

I would surely think dirkdaddy would have found time to finish his car by now? Does anyone know if he ever did?

I think Scott (Dirtdaddy) just gave up on us without a word....
The last thing he did that I know of is he had his Sky painted Blue like in the picture you just posted...

I don't know why but when I looked at this picture of the hood upside down I fell in love with that color.

So did I!!!
I think Scott called it "Candy Metallic Blue"...
A member here, Trevor G. (SunChaser) has a Sky that color, just beautiful.
To bad Trever doesn't come around and visit any longer, he now hangs out on FB...
Another hash mark on MarlboroMike holster for making him go away!

I was over there to help Scott in May, 2010. I was able to help a little.

He was stuck on installing the engine wiring harness. Completely different. I believe that in later post that he said that he got it figured out.

Such a daunting task! I couldn't have done it!

You have to see that paint job to believe it! The most beautiful blue I've ever seen!

Scott, I hope that you get to read this someday. Good luck and God bless!

Oh yes Yogi, I remember you or was it Scott that you were there helping out...
Yogi, how much work did the car needed besides the engine wiring harness when you were there?

If it wasn't for Scott's other SKY, I could have never succeeded in installing my factory XM unit. I received all the harnesses and factory materials from that parts Sky.

It was definitely me helping Scott.

He still had to figure out the engine harness, ECM, Turbo and all oil, water and air to the turbo. Turbo IC. Radiator & hoses, wheel wells, fenders, hood, front bumper. As I recall, the interior needed carpet, seats and maybe more.

A LOT of work!

Yogi
