Ventilation Fan just stopped working, but the vehicle "thinks" it is on

2007 SKY with 42,000 miles. First time I've had a real issue. Was heading out for the evening, turned on the fan/AC and the fan started, then stopped. The A/C compressor operates with the fan switch in any speed, but off, just as designed. Problem is, the fan doesn't work in any speed.

When you go between the 3rd and 4th fan setting, I've noticed a "click" or multiple "clicks", but no air flow.

I've checked my fuses, no joy. Any idea what might be the issue? Where is the fan located? Is it easy to gain access to see if there is something lodged in the fan causing it not to operate?

Had my fan go out on me last summer. Took it in and the dealership ordered the fan and replaced same within two days and under warrenty. Location on passenger side under dash and glovebox....Skip....
