I dont havOMG.. I AM READY TO SCREAM... BEEN CRYING FOR ALMOST HALF HOUR...

I got Jade back at 5.. when she was suppose to be ready at 3.. sat and waited 2 hours...... we... drove an hour and half home and then put her int he barn to put in the knight rider lights and a couple other things before I head out to ohio tomorrow morning... well......

on the way home the guages jumped a few times... and..... ONCE PARKED IN THE GARAGE... OMG.... THE OVERSPRAY FROM THE PAINT IS COMPLETELY OVER THE PASSENGERS DOOR.. PART OF THE BACK FENDER AND TRUNK.. SPOILER.. ALONG WITH SCRATCHES AND DIDNT LOOK TOTALLY AT THE DRIVER DOOR.. I WAS ALREADY SO UPSET... THE OVERSPRAY IS ALSO ON THE CHROME WHEELS.......

When we picked it up at the dealership..we were waiting for the body shop to drop it off and...... within the 5 mins we went to the restroom.. they dropped it off and took off.... there wasnt anyone at the dealership service to look at it.. we just got in the car and left..... OMG..... I AM SO SICK TO MY STOMACH.... CANT I GET A BREAK?????? Brian said oh... they may be able to just buff that out... but... IT SHOULDNT BE LIKE THAT.... I WANT IT FIXED.... THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE.... SkyBabye alot to say... I am very angry and upset tonight... SkyBaby

I know you're upset- I would be too- but try to calm down. They'll fix the paint problem, and Brian's probably right about it being pretty simple.

Any chance of convincing you to hold off on the Knight Rider lights for a little while? Just give Jade a few weeks to regain your confidence and rack up a couple thousand trouble free miles before you start modding the electrical system again. Please?

I dont know about it being an easy fix... the dang overspray is ALOT.. and all over.. and there are scratches in the spoiler...I am so angry about that... i dont know that i want them to fix it... since i already spoke with them a few times and told them how much I was worried about it not matching and nervous about it.. they assured me... way more than once it would be a GREAT JOB..... dont anyone do quality work anymore? going to bed.. hopefully I can get to Ohio tomorrow.... if the car works that long.... ugh..SkyBaby

Yes, PLEASE do not even think about messing with the electrical system at this point.

Until you are certain that everything is working perfectly (for several months), don't do anything that could cause GM/Saturn to think that it is your fault again.

I would avoid doing mods, of any kind, for quite a while.

Which is more important to you...having a working and reliable car, or having the latest mod?

I've been following your post on the nightmare you have going through with your Sky, which nobody should have to endure, and I think maybe It's time to rename the car Christine and call in an exorcist or bite the bullet and put one between the headlights of this car from hell and be done with It.
Seriously though I think Saturn should replace your Sky and be thankful your problems with It haven't resulted in any personal injury issues. Your family here is behind you 100%. Just be careful backing up, we don't want that car taking any of us down with It.

Yikes! Even prayer and Saturn can't fix a lemon. Maybe it's time to tell them you want your money back or a new car. You sure didn't get what you paid for. I have so much fun driving my Sky that I can't imagine going through what you've put up with. For sure, you have the patience of Job and you have gone the 2nd mile. I don't see how they can possibly defend or stand by your car any longer.

I'm so very sorry. I had the same kinda problem with my previous car. I had someone other then myself change the fluids cause I was in a hurry, the punk kid left the screw off the transfer case for the AWD system so that leaked out, driveshaft froze later down the road. I sued. Well the dealer put on a new drive shaft but didn't replace the transfer case. They put the drive shaft on wrong and it froze up again. A diffrent dealer put on my drive shaft and it worked for a while, then the transfer case started acting up. Well apparently there was metal bits floating around inside the transfer case, so another diffrent dealer from the other two, changed out transfer case and drive shaft. Great! Then the clutch started giving out again right after that, and I was on my second one (if most of you don't know, the evo 8 clutches were extremely weak, their life expectancy was 5k-9k miles) Thus the clutch never being on warrenty I went along with a works stage two clutch that performed beautifully. I had boost problems and nitrious problems with lines. Apparently the well reknown performance shop in my area had no idea how to fix the leak in my nitrious lines but a red neck with an old cammero did at my previous work. My boost was mainly my fault and some of it not, I ordered hoses, they sent me the wrong size. Tried to use em anyways cause they were just slightly to big with screw clamps, that was a no go. Once my piping connector blew off going down the freeway.. not fun. I ordered an aftermarket exhaust manifold, well it warped over time and ruined my turbo. Well.. thats not covered under warrenty, but luckly I had connections and they swapped out my evo 8 turbo with an evo 9's and I went back to stock manifold. Not only that, I had someone key my car on the military base I was at just after getting it. I had like the second one in the state of Kentucky at the time..
I loved the car, and still do. I just hated it when things weren't going right. I'm sure your car isn't a lemon, someone just isn't doing their job right at the shop.
