Windrestrictor Battery Pack Question

I figure I'll ask these in forum instead of direct to windrestrictor since the answer will probably be good for the lot of us:

1. How many folks use the battary pack instead of tapping into the wiring?
2. Where is the recommended mount location for the battary pack?
3. Is the pack easily removable?
4. Is there a switch option for the center storage bin?
5. What is the range of current draw?

I would like a lighted restrictor, but don't want to tap any wires (or have anyone else do it either), so the battery pack is appealing to me. I'll use it low duty cycle, in parking lots and limited street driving excursions. Hence, a cockpit switch is needed...poping open the center storage bin and hitting a switch would be nice.

I have the Brake Light Module which has a battery pack built in to it.
Mine is mounted in the waterfall compartment w/ double stick automotive trim tape.
The BLM is wired into the car's wiring BUT I use the battery pack for when our car club has get togethers and the car is parked. There is a switch on it that lets me use the car's wiring or the battery. And I can use the 2 knobs to adjust the light intensity from nil to bright - both for when braking or the rest of the time.
The draw - danged if I know.

We also offer the 12V plug which would be the easiest way to produce illumination. Most people opt for the running lights to power theirs or brake light power.

Our new brake light modules have the battery pack incorporated in them....
