The Adventures Of Solguy.

Solguy was having a rough day. He had just broken up with his girlfriend of two years, Skygirl. Though she came into his life not so long ago, she was a beauty with sharp tight curves and a powerhouse above her rack and pinion steering.

Solguy found himself alone on a secluded beach. It was near sunset and the reds and yellows of the sky were truly mesmerizing. Yet our hero felt knots of pain from his breakup gripping his stomach. As he slouched in his new GXP, he closed his eyes to try to quiet the pain of his broken heart.

After a brief snooze, Solguy awoke to even more nausea as more memories of Skygirl lingered in his thoughts. The queasiness that overtook him even made the sunset appear quite green. Solguy stumbled from his car and collapsed on the beach. Solguy, despite his GM given powers as a Solstice salesman, hurled and leaked like his pinion seal had just two months ago. Solguy knew GM easily fixed that problem with a new pinion seal, but what could fix Solguy’s broken heart?

The reds of the sunset had given way to hues of purple and violet. Solguy wondered if he would ever be happy again. Slowly Solguy’s eyelids got heavy as his thoughts seemed to quiet and a deep sleep overcame him.

Solguy started to dream. A striking, tattooed mermaid had swum over to him at the ocean’s edge. Her green-hued etched beauty was overwhelming, reminding him of the day he had first gazed upon his new envious GXP. She spoke of his favorite topic, his Sol like a new Pontiac saleswomen. She knew it all: horsepower, cockpit styling, the waterfall, cowlings, aero-ferrings. It was as if she had conceived and built the car herself. Solguy and the mermaid became friends and lovers as he slept on his sandy bed.

A cool breeze greeted Solguy as he awoke later that night. His eyes caught the glow of a laser-etched rising moon that seemed larger than life itself. Awash in moonlight, Solguy walked to his GXP and sat in it’s soft leather seat. But where was his mermaid lover? Was she real or was she just a wild fantasy or dream?

All Solguy could see was the laser-etched: shimmering ocean, soaring seagulls, and palm trees glowing in the moonlight. Then suddenly, his passenger door opened and the cream colored skin of a multi-color-etched Tattooed Mermaid Girl appeared. She no longer glowed in green and her sleek fish-like tail had disappeared and been replaced by the long, shapely, sleek legs of a tall supermodel. She slid over to Solguy and whispered in his ear: “Will you be my Solmate?”

Solguy could barely believe his eyes or his ears. Solguy closed his eyelids. Was this real or a fantasy? Would she still be there when he looked again?

Before he dared to peek, he felt Tattooed Mermaid Girl’s soft lips on his. He returned several passionate kisses before they drove off in the cool night air with the top down. No need to worry about being cold. Solguy had a custom etched windscreen from Kappa Windscreens to cut down the cabin wind turbulence. The bright lit GXP logo on the screen marked their path as his Sol smartly turned the curves and disappeared into the night.

What’s next? What will become of Solguy and Tattooed Mermaid Girl? Will they become Solmates? And just who is this tattooed beauty? Will her fish tail return? And how will she walk her dog if it does? Where will they drive? Who will drive? Who will pay the bills and wash their clothes? Who cares?

Be sure to tune in next week. Brought to you by Kappa Windscreens.
