Smile Can a GMROADSTER admin explain?

Hey been on the site and I have gotten a few different answers and most just flat out don't make sense to me. I even had another pair of eyes re-read some of the responses and she said the same thing.

I am on a shared membership I guess with someone till 2009 they are the primary so are there things on the GMROADSTER.COM SITE I can't do because of that?

Since I am not the primary but have a card and membership number I haven't been sent anything via snail mail or email personally. Like I know some have said they have been sent.

What about those of us that are in a few of the clubs like SSSSS & the Tampa club but yet are doing other group events that aren't actually just because of a group and we would like it posted on GMROADSTER site such as the big Key West Trip coming up?

Thank you!

Hi Kimberly,

I’m sorry if I haven’t gotten back with you, it’s been pretty busy around here for say…oh….the past 18months…I have always done my best to answer member questions.

Our memberships are considered a “Family Membership” 99.9% of the time there is one login on the GMR web site and one on the Chapter web site….If you have a separate user ID from the primary please shoot me an email via the “Contact Us” and I’ll make sure to make the appropriate changes to your user ID so that you can see the same things that the primary account see’s.

GM Roadster has made it a mission to support “All” clubs and their events! You don’t have to be a GMR Chapter in order to gain the support of the National Club. If anyone has an event that they would like listed on our calendar please submit the info via the “Contact Us” form and we’ll get it up there!

Admittedly, this is one area that I have been lacking in which is trying to keep up with all the events that are posted on the forums and making the appropriate contact. So it would be a huge help that if you have an event that you would like us to help with or simply include in our monthly newsletter send it to us and we’ll take care of it.

Thank you,

Martin A. Scott
Executive Director

Non-members should submit calendar items via the contact us form. For members, you should be able to click on the "Add Event" link at the bottom of the calendar (see below).

After you have uploaded an event, you can edit it by clicking on MY EVENTS, or if you are looking at the detailed event description on the screen, you can click on the paper/pencil icon next to the name of the event and edit it (but only if you are the one who created it).

The editor used is a word-like editor with lots of powerful editing features. No HTML is needed.
