Houston Texas 2.0L / 2.4L ECM Performance Tuning

I have had a few requests to get us out to the Houston area for a tuning day. How many people would be interested in this, we are looking at either September or October for a date and we’ll have a Dyno available for pulls if needed.

Thank you,

Martin-GMR

:) :) I'm interested

Yeah!!! A houston tuning party would be awesome!

I'm interested if its on a weekend when i'm in town. (Before October 16).

How about this???

We could do the tuning out at the track on Friday Oct 10th (Houston Raceway open drag strip night) and then we could all go test our tune and get some 1/4 mile times. We could even drag race against each other!! Legally!!! I think it cost 20 bucks to use the drag strip. I don't know what the plan was for the dyno though. Could that be set up out at the track or was there a specific shop we were planning on using?? I want some dyno pulls before and after.

It looks like martins planning on coming Oct 4th based on his tuning thread comment which would work well for me

We could have a seperate meet on Oct 10th at the Houston Raceway to test out our tunes on the 1/4mi for whoever wanted to come !

I am working on locating a good shop that will be open Saturday in Houston. I am looking at being there on Saturday October 4th, and leaving at the crack of dawn on Sunday. I want to have the option of dyno time for all of you if you are willing to pay for the fees. That will probably include 2 baseline pulls, flash the tune, and 2-3 pulls afterwards to allow me to scan your particular car and make any needed adjustments.

If you guys now any good shops feel free to PM their info to me.

Thanks,

Steve - GMRoadster Tuner

Do I need anything special I have the BSR tune so I don't know how I would get tuned. Also it is asking me to pay $115. What gives?

93 octane

BTW, there's no option for 93 octane on the pulldown, only 90 or 91. Over here in Houston we burn 93.

No problem we can tune for that on-site.

So if we get you to custom tune our car and we have the aftermarket IC pipes, CAI, and throtle body, will we actually make more power or is it still beneficial to stay stock on those components?
