the last and biggest announcement of the week DDMWorks Calipers
DDMworks 4 Piston Big Caliper Upgrade
The first kit on the market that allows you to upgrade the stock, single piston floating calipers you have now to a stronger, lighter, custom 4 piston billet set-up. When looking at the stock Solstice and Sky brake set-up, we found that the stock rotor size is a great size for most street driven cars. However, we knew there was some room for improvement in the system by upgrading the stock single piston caliper with a fixed 4 piston caliper set-up.
We designed this kit with the concept of reducing the unsprung mass of the car and keeping the rotating mass as low as we could. By using the stock size rotors we do not overly bias the front brakes or increase the rotating mass often found with other brake kits. The big caliper upgrade comes with everything you need for the upgrade, 2 custom DDMworks big calipers in your choice of Black or Bright Red, 2 Caliper mounting brackets, your choice of brake pads and necessary hardware for the installation. Vehicles using Stock Solstice wheels require the use of a 1/4" wheel spacer(supplied with kit), Sky wheels do not need the spacers. You can re-use your stock brake lines, or upgrade to stainless lines for an even firmer pedal feel.
We will also be doing a big brake kit in the future. This is first part, these 4 piston caliper will be reused to upgrade to larger sized lighter rotors and allow for a stepped approach to the upgrade. This will allow some much needed style points to be added to your car. With that style comes some key features:
Billet Aluminum housing design (Superior in strength to cast calipers).
Four Bolt, multi-ribbed housing. (Increases rigidity and reduces deflection for improved pedal feel).
Stainless steel pistons. (Retards heat transfer to brake fluid).
High temperature, square cut piston seals. (Controls piston retraction for zero drag).
Ok Randy, That is another couple of buyers for RED or polished..... Hook us up man, work with us.

Now that you're offering red, I'm definitely doing this upgrade. I was looking at the DDMWorks website and there's a pad material option. Options are "HPS" and "HP Plus". Can anyone explain what those options are and why I would want one vs. the other?

Thanks in advance!
These are Hawk Pads..
HPS (High Performance Street) – Performance Street Compound
When it comes to performance braking, there is no competition. This unique Ferro-Carbon compound combines the safety and quality of Aerospace design partnered with the braking technology of motorsports. Much improved braking over OE and standard replacement brake pads.
HP Plus – Autocross & Track Compound
The HP Plus Ferro-Carbon material can take the heat at the track and get you home safely without having to change your brake pads. This compound was designed for autocross, Solo II, and Track Day applications.
Warning! Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve race level braking; rotor wear, noise, dust and pad life may be affected.
As to which one you'll want. 90% of the people will want HPS due to the more rotor friendly design. But if your really heavy on brakes, like Dave, then HP+ may be more appropriate. HP+ are really aggresive and take heat well
