Big Brakes, Rotors, and Pads - sneak peak!

Kappasphere is proud to announce several new braking solutions in the works for the Solstice and Sky.

Our sister company, Sector111 is the premier provider of aftermarket performance parts for the Lotus Exige and Elise. On the Sector side we have developed numerous exclusive offerings from track suspensions, superchargers, in-house designed forged wheels, to safety equipment. As some of you may know Sector111 recently introduced a new big brake kit from AP Racing.

AP Racing representatives recently came to our headquarters in southern California to give a braking seminar for our Lotus and Kappa customers. AP Racing is the OEM wheel provider such cars as the Bugatti Veyron and Lotus to championship winning teams in Formula 1, NASCAR, LeMans, FIA GT, ALMS, LMES, Grand Am, Super GT, BTCC, DTM, etc., etc.

This year we will be offering many new performace products for the Solstice and Sky. We have been working hard to setup a big brake kit utilizing AP Racing calipers for the Kappa community. Soon we will be able to tell you more about the specs, options, and pricing of this kit.

For those of you that want to retain your factory calipers, we are also working with our partners to introduce new slotted rotors and performance brake pads.

Here are some pictures of our kit for the Lotus community:

Also you can watch our Exige on a recent TV show called Super Cars Exposed in a hill climb challenge against a Porsche and Ferrari. See the AP Racing brakes in action!

This will be for the fronts. We will also have options for better rotors and pads for the rear as well. The kit wont be quite as "race" spec as the Lotus one because the brakes just become so expensive. So the price will be lower for sure.
