New innovation from Kappasphere

We are excited to offer a new product for the Sky or Solstice, in stock, and ready to ship on Monday. We spent a lot of time on R&D for this product to help maintain better neutrality and increase the handling of your kappa roadster.

Less flex = better performance. During aggressive driving your Kappa car will experience rear chassis flex, which negatively affects handling. Our reBAR reinforces a weak point in the rear sub-frame to better maintain the shape and performance of your roadster. Special introductory price of $175.

Rear Chassis Flex Reduction

* Brace strengthens chassis integrity.
* Better suspension control and driving performance.
* Reduces long term squeaks and rattles.

Easy Installation

* No permanent alteration to your car body.
* Bar stays behind the valence.
* Easily DIY – installation instructions provided.
o Just 8 bolts, 13mm socket and a ratchet.

Durable Quality

* Hand MIG welded in USA.
* Designed to handle the demands of both daily and aggressive driving.
* Powder coated red to protect the bar and give it a great look.

Model Compatibility

* Sky and Redline
* Solstice and GXP
* Will fit certain aftermarket exhausts including 3" systems.

Our introductory price for the reBAR is $175.
You can order it here

Awesome, I wondered about body flex especially since it is a convertible. I will be ordering this product. Is there a noticeable difference in handling??

And how about a bar in the front under the hood?? I know it is tight and the engine sits high.

I love new product!

Yes you can notice especially when you are pushing the car around turns. Its a great looking bar, we are very happy with the finished product. We have had a lot of people pre-order this product so I am sure they will be having their first impressions of the bar in the next few days.

We have been looking at a lot of new suspension offerings for the car to help you all out on the street, autox, or at the track.

very cool, I hope to order one soon. For suspension I've been running with the KW V3 coilover kit . So far it's been great.

Fitment

Kappasphere,
Do you have a list of which exhaust systems fit with the addition of this bar? Thanks.

It works with our KS1 and KS2 exhaust, stock exhaust, and Magnaflow exhaust. We haven't tested it on Skys with other exhausts yet.

We debated between red and black for the powder coating of the bar. It looks really nice in person peaking out from under the car, but maybe you have another color in mind. While we arent doing different colors, you could get one and take it to a local powder coater. They would probably sand blast the red coat off and recoat it to your liking.

Bar

Sort of looks like a trailer hitch. Would a hitch do the same thing?

does this rebar take the place of the rear sway, or assists it in stiffening up the rear?

This piece was design to improve handling by decreasing chassis flex and should not be used to tow anything. I dont know of any trailer hitches that function to improve chassis rigidity.

Not sure if this price will be available in a month or not. We do not have a specific end date in mind yet. We are waiting to see how the market reacts!

Good question, the reBAR does not replace any bars on the car but is a new additional bar designed to strengthen the rear end of the car. The reBAR is different then the rear sway bar, but does assist the rear sway bar. The sway bars connect the right and left wheels to increase the suspension's roll stiffness. The sway bar acts as a torsional spring that resists body roll and keeps your car flatter around turns. The reBAR acts more like a lower tie bar or a strut bar.

I don't have to order; I just have to drive over the hill and pick it up!

Maybe Friday...

(I already had the prototype part on SPIRIT; how do you think they know it works with the three-inch Magnaflow?)

I realy like the color choice also.

I just had the RPi Exhaust installed and am wondering if it will work with it?

Also where does this attach to? Is there any drilling or fabrication that would need to be done to install this bar?
