OZ Wheels

Man I love those OZ wheels that went out in your email. Any pics of these on a SKY? What's the price? Any details would help.
Thanks,

I just bought them but I'm waiting to put them on once I put my coilover and brake kits on. They are sitting in my garage right now. It does suck just looking at them and not having them on.

I was looking into OZ wheels myself

Funny you guys should hit on that topic. I had OZ recommended to me by a Mustang aficionado so i did a little digging. I stopped digging shortly after i ran into these:

O.Z. Superleggera III Black w/Polished Lip

$1K each is kinda strong - as in... i'm no longer looking at OZ. That makes Foose pricing look cheap. I see that Kappasphere sells a more reasonable OZ style, at ONLY $335 each.

I still haven't put mine on yet. I'm deployed so I won't get to put them on til the end of the year. And then I want to do it at the same time I upgrade my brakes. I got the all black Ultraleggeras from Ben at Tire Rack.

Holy c**p, over 4 grand for a set of wheels. And some people said I was throwing money away getting a Mallett conversion.

Yea, I wouldn't really recommend the Ultraleggera III unless you really want a set of 3-piece forged wheels. The Ultraleggera's we sell are $335 a piece - considering the construction, weight and reputation of O.Z., I think that is quite reasonable. I'd rather have a Mallett then high-end wheels any day.

As far as largest wheels you can put on. Some guys have put 22s on this car, but I wouldn't really recommend going bigger then 19s myself. Large wheels are going to be heavier (car will be slower), tires will get thinner (ride comfort suffers), you may start getting into rubbing problems, and decreased turning radius. 18s are my preference on this particular car, but thats just an opinion.

I really like this look. Do you know if there will be a option to get a 19" set instead of an 18" set?

With all the interest you're gathering on the wheels, why don't you throw out a tempting offer to move a few sets.

Nice Morfious,

I got mine about a month ago but put them in the attic until I return from deployment. Can't wait, they look great and they are so much lighter!

Here is another picture of these wheels on our Sky.

They are a really nice constructed wheel, go on easily, nice CF center caps, lightweight. Cant go wrong.
