2009 SKY Changes [Rumor has it...]

Rumor has it... the following changes are coming for 2009:

Evening Blue (48U) replaces Midnight Blue (25U).
Evening Blue looks to be a slightly lighter dark blue and a little "bluer" than the really dark midnight blue we had.

Ruby Red (79U) is a new available color. (Chili Pepper Red is still available)
Correction: This color is the same that is currently available in the 2008 Vue!!!

Bluetooth will be standard in the RedLine model and optional in the regular Roadster.

As you already know, Bluestone will be eliminated along with the replaced Midnight Blue.

Rumor has it that these are all the changes...

If Ruby red is what I believe it to be...(Black Cherry) it will be gorgeous...I may have to trade in my car...this will be a hard call for me...

I have the color chart, still looks like a bright red but metallic and with a slight pearl effect with a little burgundy hint...

Hard to tell from a swatch 1" x 1" big...

... but looked like an entirely different color on the car.

I was told on the Sol side that it will be similar to the "Merlot" Red .... which is not quite the Black Cherry/Burgundy I had hoped for 1st picture but close

i am going to be confirming the above statement and that these are no longer rumors.. i just printed off the options sheets for the 09's and all the changes above are true..

i can't wait to see the 09 vue tho, thats gunna be seeing some of the biggest changes of all

Mike, if you like that Cherry Metallic, here is what you do. Send the car to JPM to make the center of the seats and door panels that color, then go to a great body shop and have strips to match up the center!.... NICE!!!

yeah - and I thought the Brazen color for the solstice would be that pretty copper color - I cringed when I saw it in person....and I don't believe there's enough sunlight in the world to make it look pretty

The 48U color code is that same bright, dark blue that is on the Hummer.
They call it "All Terrain Blue".
