Are you sure that Toyota did not just buy GM instead????? Toyota could buy GM and Ford with the cash they have on hand 80+ billion

There is no way that happens. GM is finally seeing some forward traction in dollars and cars, and Lutz's name is strongly associated with that.

Even if he never made another decision...they will pull a brinks truck up to the door to keep him in GM as the negatice publicity would drop the stock...

Example... they just bumped up his retirement package 3+ million.... I would bet somewhere in that agreement is a lifetime non compete.

Toyota never should have discontinued the MR2--now if you want fun and edgy you have to look at the Scions

usually only companies in need have to recruit talent. Last time I checked Toyota's management is doing fantastic. Toyota sells something like 1200 Camry's an hour, everyday
