Half Price XM Radio

I was told and looked at other places about 1 yr of XM radio for only $77. Well I called and asked and they gave it to me. I did not have to give a promocode or tell them I got a ad in the mail. All I told them was I knew it was available.

I got the same deal when I told them I did not want to renew at the end of my 3-month trial. It seems that the "real" price of XM is $77 per year.

XM Radio

Great deal at less than $7/month. Did you have to sign a long-term agreement or anything.

I got an extension

They called me last week looking for a 1 year subscription. I advised that I really have not used it that much and was not sure if I would commit to a year, so they gave me an additional 3 month trial period for 15.00

I paid for the year all at once. It is prorated though, I am supposed to be able to cancel it at any time and get a refund for the unused time.

When I asked about additional years she quoted me their standard package; $12.95 a month for one additional year, etc.

Thought I'd stay with the 12month/$77 plan and see if they come up with another "deal" before my year ends.

You're kidding?!

I just paid almost 40, to keep another 3 months going. Knowing this now, I think I am going to change our plan!

When I had my Sky in for service a couple of weeks ago, I was talking with one of the salesmen about this.

He said that I would get a letter from XM asking for 12.95 per month when my "trial period" was nearing an end. He said to just throw it away and then they would send one for 9.95 per month. He said if you don't respond to that they would send the $77 per year offer.

I got the 12.95 one a couple of weeks ago, so I'm waiting for the next one...
