I have not been on the forum in the last year, but a handful of times. I cannot believe I missed this. R.I.P. Skip. He was a really nice guy, just one of the guys. Very sad, but I know now he is REALLY DRIVING IN THE SKY!! God Bless SKIP.

Just remember, for anyone going to make a comment about the fact I did not know, many of you have my number. Marlboro Mike, I talked to you a bunch of times.....you never told me!

Well . . .

You can be grim . . .

And you have reaped more than one junior member . . .

But, no, the GR would not have whitewalls.

"It's a Mr. Death or something. He's come about the reaping. I don't think we need any..."

Mike looks good in black (see below). And as always, CHEERS to Skip. I just cracked open a bottle of 18 year Glenfiddich in his honor!

My life has taken me away from this forum in recent years, but I have been thinking about SKIP a lot of late. I still have SPIRIT in California, and BABY is still on vacation with my sister in Florida.

I have been called to attend a week-long class at Maxwell AFB in Alabama, so I am flying into Orlando, picking up BABY, and will be cruising through Alabama with my lovely bride. I had hoped to be able to swing by and see SKIP - a true friend that I have never met - and came here specifically to look him up.

SKIP, sorry we didn't connect during your time on this Earth, but know that I will be thinking of you as I drive through your great state of Alabama.

Here's to hoping that we can meet in that great SKY in the sky.

John, like you I've been gone for a while and just recently got back here as I am getting another Sky.

I remember Skip from those early days and how he always had a pearl of Redneck wisdom for us. He was a good guy and while I never got to meet him here, perhaps one day I'll get to on the other side.
