" I could end up buying a convertible in October. By early November, I should be hospitalized with pneumonia. I could even die."
Some legends just never die. If you contract pneumonia (or a cold or
the flu) from driving in cold weather, then you will be the first human in history to have done so. You contract those illnesses from viruses, not cold weather. That was only proven in 1935 at Oxford's Cold Research Laboratory.
Takes awhile for the word to get around, apparently. Like 70 years. Isn't it wonderful that we have the media to enlighten us and keep us informed.

The reason being (that they told me) was that they are uping production on the Solstice and the Sky production is suppose to be put back a bit?????? This sounds ridiculous to me but what have others heard
They are taking 500 down on the sky say it will be March or April that is at saturn of rockford Ill

Welcome Wally, what you will find is that the dealers, dont know a thing, period. BUT when any news at all that comes out of GM you will find it here FIRST not at your dealership. Lots of great people here with lots of good information, you will enjoy yourself.
Did you put down a deposit? and if yes what is your color choice?

Again, Welcome aboard!!!!

Kimberly

What was said at the GM Auto Show in Motion

I went to the GM Auto Show in Montion this weekend and they had a red pre-production sky there. The Saturn rep said that they production line will start up in January with a run of 250 production models that will be used for production shake down, auto journalist reviews and auto shows. Then by mid-Feb to early March the first consumer ones will start rolling off the line given that there are no problems. Saturn is not expecting any major problems since the all the mechanical problems are being worked out on the Solstice, leaving only cosmetic problems.
