New Member Looking For An Opel GT or Sky Redline

Hi all.... new member from Canton, Ohio. I have been lurking awhile and am looking to purchase a Sky Redline (Yellow, White, Red, Blue) but I really want the orange Opel GT. I saw one on the highway here in Ohio and immediately wanted it.
I'm not sure if I could even get an Opel but the orange paint is incredible.

I come from a motorcycle riding background but my health insurance will no longer cover me on a bike. I will be watching closely and hope to learn alot about my future car!

Keep an eye out for me if you don't mind.

Burnt Orange is a Solstice. The BEST color for that model

Welcome, It will be pretty hard to find an Opel here in the states, but you never know. Good luck on your hunt, I know there are a lot of Sky's for sale.

Burnt orange on a Sky was not a factory color option but as others have mentioned, it was a color on the Solstice, the Sky's sister car here in the states.

As for owning an Opel, many Sky owners have done Opel conversions to their cars. @skersfan is one of them and he has done about every Opel bit you can down to the tail lights and smokers package. He'd be the one to talk to if you want to go that route. Really, the Opels aren't super special as they were built here in the states right alongside the Sky.

I come from a motorcycle background and while this isn't the same, it's close enough if you can't ride.

My apologies. I know the orange car I saw on 77 was a Sky or an Opel. It must have had a custom paint job because it was incredible. I thought maybe the Opel came in orange (like the old ones).

I guess I don't have to look for an Opel now!

There is one person who painted her Sky Burnt Orange....I do not remember her name but she is in the military. Last I heard that car was in Germany. Maybe she came back. Her shortened name was Kat.

I have a picture of an Orange and black Opel GT. Done very similar to mine. It is in the Opel GT calendar. I am on the road so can't ever show you a picture of the picture. It truly looks good though.
