OK you Redline fans, here's a recent review on European version of your car, the 2007 Opel GT. Pretty positive review. BTW, a Euro is worth about $1.31 so our European friends are paying over $40K for their Opels.
If you compare prices remember in Europe we are always talking about prices with the tax included, in this case the German price is € 30,675 (incl. 19% VAT), that's a net price of € 25,777 (~ US$ 34,400). If you ~ $ 600 for transport, the comparable price is US$ 35,000. That's a lot more than in USA but you have to count ~ 1,000/1,500 USD for overseas transport to Europe.
BTW doesn't the small European licence plate really look nice at the front bumper?
You guys still lucky to get that car at this price! Here in Canada its start at 38 000$ CAN plus you need add some option on it. So you end up 42 000$ before 15% tax!
It is a shame they didn't keep the darkened head lights from the Sky RL, IMHO the darkened headlights make all the difference in style between the NA and th RL.
