EDIT -- I do recall he said the vendor was in Florida not sure if that helps anyone.
It does since we only have so many vendors and I don't think any two are in the same state.

However, I have reached out to the vendor and I will stay on top of it for the OP.

Cool,
the odd thing I recall, is I think he phrased it the distributor is in Florida. But in the op he says vendor, so I don't know... kicking my self for not qouting his entire post, never thought they would delete it.

Unfortunately the only vendors I will ever do business with here is DDMWorks and Windrestrictor. Both have been incredible and gone far beyond what they needed for me and my expectations. I was a bit preturbed with another vendor here on my IC piping and will never order another item from them. It's nice to know about this "Florida" vendor as I was thinking about ordering my IC from him.

How do I tell them that because of the unfreezing process I have no inner monologue? I hope I didn't say that out loud just now?

Last year (2016) my intercooler ballooned and I had to install a replacement. The company I ordered from had back-ordered the item and I had to cancel the order.

My order was cancelled via e-mail, but I was not refunded.

Fast-forward a few months later and the order I cancelled had shipped, I received a shipping notification. I contacted the vendor and explained that the order had been cancelled and that I was expecting a refund. They apologized for the confusion and other problems, instructed me to return the item for a refund. When the item arrived I instructed UPS to return the item to the vendor, and I notified the vendor that the item had been left with the UPS.

The tracking info shows the item was returned to the vendor's facility a few days later.

I have contacted the vendor numerous times for a refund and I still have not received one. I have been assured it would be resolved.

It has been almost TWO YEARS.

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to get my money?

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
If you used a credit card, call them and say you want to dispute the charge and explain the situation. After this contact the vendor and professionally let them know you have contacted the credit card company and have begun the dispute process.

Most credit cards have a 90 day dispute window.

I ran into that when Norm jerked me around.

Yes, but in the OP's second post he said he bought the intercooler from a distributor in Florida. At least implying to me, that he did not buy it directly from the manufacturer. Which is why I had qouted it cause then we would still have exactly how he wrote.

I'm curios to see if he will post on this forum anymore.

I think it's the same thing.
Just a matter of using the word distributor vs vendor.

Anyone know of any other "Distributors" of intercoolers in Florida that fit in our car, besides the quoted business?

You're absolutely right Elff, it's a potāto potăto thing… it's like using curios versus curious...
