Well someone went off the rails here. Ahhh no... not for that price either.
this photo has not been altered in any way, shape or form there of I assume here?

Some owners have vision, and some need their vision checked more or less.
Good bones to start with, and then lot of add on's to make it look well
beauty is in the eye of the beholder here I guess...

$35k???? Really???? Well...I've always said we, as a group need to add like $5k to our cars to get the pricing to start increasing. But, his increase is a bit much.

All kidding aside, we do need to add about $4-$5k to our cars and start "artificially" increasing the prices. Once we do this, people may look at them as more of a collectable.

Ok, am I missing something here? "custom wheels"....they changed the center cap...
No engine mods? just a stock redline? over $30k with 32k miles?
Im all for group raising our cars values, especially to all of us that have mods, low mileage, what have you....

but that engine just isn't worth $30k stock...

Do a laughable job butchering a nice car and turn it into a comic book candidate, so then it MUST be worth way more than a pristine stock version, right....??

Sad thing is that he might actually find a buyer for the crap he is spewing. Look at Ebay - same seller lists all sorts of items for $20 but puts one on for $100 because an idiot that doesn't bother researching an item come along once a month or whatever and buys the expensive one. That car sale is P.T. Barnum all over again.

I think you are missing the sarcastic tone of Bill's post. He clearly does not think that this car is actually worth more.

Oh man. Thanks for the laugh!

Good old Whitney Catalogue from the olden days before the WWW.

Remember getting a pair of sleek glossy black aerodynamic outside rearview mirrors from them. My car didn't have one on the passenger side. So, back in the Summer of '71 that 1967 candy apple red Mustang notchback got its first "mod." Replaced the drivers side mirror and mounted the other one on the passenger side. Of course, don't think it wasn't called a "mod" back then; it was just something people did who liked to tinker with their cars.

I'm assuming it's the same owner who created this collectible masterpiece.

I think I saw that prototype in the Mueso Ferrari or was that the Grappa that clouded my vision? Maybe there was a sale on Ferrari badges?

I truly hope the (exhaust?) on the drivers side is just tacked on with double sided tape and can be easily removed along. On a bright note it looks like everything can be hopeful easily undone.
