Still in agreement with DaveOC, but with this addition:
1) from the very top of the skyroadster.com page as you sign-on....find FORUMS. click here
2) now from the drop down menu's, pick the forum that fits the topic you want your post to appear .... example: general discussion, etc. A sub-topic drop down also appears to further refine the subject of your post .... you must pick something here.
3) now having completed 1) and 2), ....on the upper left legend, you should find ">POST NEW THREAD". Click there on the command and you will move to the prepare your post, etc.

I'm hopeful this will work for you as it does work for me, every time. Picking your forum category can be a grab bag, but that is just the way it is sometimes. Picking a wrong area won't prevent your post from appearing.

I will try another browser next week. It had been showing new post then suddenly it went away.

Thanks, Joe

Rather than keeping the old format...they went with all this new crap that nobody understands...always remember, less is more.

@Administrator should see this.

I have issues using IE11 or Edge at work but no issues at home with Chrome. I have a feeling the work issue has to do with settings I can't change.

I just tried IE11 and that does not appear to be the problem, at least as far a being able to post a new thread.

Not trying to hijack thread, but I have tried two introduction posts and one question post. I get quick note saying moderator has to ok post and then it will be posted. Nothing yet. Is this normal? I did register.

The other issues I'm having is I can no longer see forum members avatars, and still can't search the forum. I was having the same issue with the Solstice forum but that site gives you the option of switching between Solsticeforum "full" screen, and Solsticeforum "Classic" screen, when you first sign in. So I choose Classic screen on the Solsticeforum and everything is fine.

There is a 'Full" screen option here (and a "mobile" option screen), but I don't see a "Classic screen option here, is it available here?

I just hit "post quick reply" but nothing happens, I have to hit "go advance", and then hit "submit" before it will post.

Yes, that is normal. As a new user, you are automatically in moderation for the first several posts, and they must be approved by a moderator before they show up. It is a measure used in fighting spam from new members, they want to be sure you are not a spambot.

This forum only has one moderator who is active and he sometimes gets very busy and isn't able to be here all the time to approved new member posts. Have patience,and welcome to the forum!
