Anyone else had issues with a DDMWorks order lately?

Submitted my order the week of Christmas, for a back-ordered item. Asked for a status update on 1/27... sales replied on 1/29 that it was shipping that week. Flash forward to this week, nothing arrived and UPS/FedEx show no inbound shipments.

I emailed sales three times asking for an update and it's just radio silence from them.

I have to say, for my first order with them I am not impressed... this will assuredly be my last order with them.

I would call and check with Angie. 864 438 4949. I just spoke with them a few minutes ago. So know they are there. Email and texting really doesn't get the job done. One on One conversations when doing business is the only way for me.

Generally speaking I always hear good things about DDM customer service, so I'm sure you will get your product. The only thing I can think of is that the item was backordered and they are waiting for their supplier to deliver the product. Suppliers will usually ship out orders from large suppliers before small suppliers, even if a small supplier order products first.

Feel free to give us a call, ask for me, not sure what you ordered but we do not intentionally hold back any orders for any reason, once the product is here it gets shipped out immediately. With the holidays unfortunately some of our suppliers did get behind on production, when they give us an update of when a product is ready, that is all we can pass along to our customers. If our suppliers miss that production deadline for delivery to us, we go back to them and work with them to get the parts as soon as possible, but we still have to wait for them to deliver to us before we can ship out. Not sure if your order contains a center console or Probeam, we had a large amount of orders for those this holiday season and they have been promised to us for several weeks now and if so, Angie was just passing along the information she was given. Some center consoles have started to show up and are actually shipping tomorrow, the Probeams we are still waiting on and have been told they are now at powdercoat.

Anyway, let me know what your order was and we will be happy to get you another update. If that doesn't work for you, we are happy to cancel your order, whatever works best for you!

DDM supports this site and the Kappa group in general. Have nothing but positives to say about them and how they do business. I will say this, if you call and ask for Dave, 99.9% of the time he picks up the phone and spends whatever time is needed to help you, Ivy goes out of her way to make people happy. I am sure once this is worked out you will feel the same as most of us do about DDM.

Not a problem Dave. Manufacturers/Retailers are busy and can't be everywhere at once. I figured though that you'd want to know about this thread so you could address it personally. Don't mind at all helping those that help us.
