copart chili-pep for 2400

This car looks nice. It has a BIN of 2400.

https://www.copart.com/lot/58904139

In California though I'd have to buy it though a broker - license the car in Oregon - get the title - then register it with the CA DMV.

So about 3000 and six weeks before being able to own it.

Too bad I don't have 3000 of discretionary cash. But maybe that's a good thing....

It probably needs a 400$ repair... And I'd want to put black headlamps on it and a street-edition racing stripe.

So I'm saving money by not doing anything.

Without examining it there is no way to be sure, but it appears to me that:
The hood needs adjustment.
The top has been kept folded for most of its life
The trunk is lightly sprung from closing it on something.

All three are pretty common, and not too serious, if that is what they are.

If it wasn't automatic, and all the way across the country.......

Copart makes the cars look a lot better than they truly are. I know I bought one. Also the final payment normally ends up being a little higher than they claim.

If you are truly interested in the car Emmett, contact Hoosier GXP. Tell him I told you to contact him. He can it handled for you. He got mine for me.

When I called Copart to ask if the car was drive able, they said they thought it was. When they drug it out with the fork lift the rear driver side axle and A arm were broken. They had taken great effort to make the car look much better than it was. If you can't go see it, I would stay away from it. Used NA's aren't selling for much more and you get a real title.

Is it just me or does it look like it has a Santana cup holder in it?

What makes you think so? It looks pretty stock to me.

It's just you . . . it's the stock cup holder . . . just pushed into the console at the rear.

That might have been it...The reflection on the part made it look like it was metal rather than plastic but I could see the little finger spot on it like the stock one so I couldn't be sure...hence the question.

You know it's bad when you have done so much to your car you start forgetting what it looked like stock. LOL
