cup holders

Wondering if anyone has seen / tried or is using this one. Seems like it might be good.

Yeah the DDMworks may be in the long range plan. But its just a bit more money than the $15 option i posted.

I bought one at the local Bealls Outlet for something like $4.50 and I think it is the same thing. I haven't tested it yet, so will do so and report back. If I can find the box, I'll let you know who made mine.

CORRECTION: I put it in place. It should work fine with a slim passenger, but it takes up a lot of space in an already cozy seat. Must have pitched the box, sorry.

The eBay price at $21.00 probably can be beat if you look around.

very true, i guess it depends on how many times you have to spill coffee on yourself in the morning during your commute before youre willing to spend 200 bucks on cupholders😂

Well, if $10 bucks solves the problem, the $190 will buy me lots of coffee.

Picked this up at Autozone yesterday. Fits great between console and passenger seat.

My solution. The hook is three layers of .080 thick ABS laminated and stuck to the console with 3M emblem tape.
The cupholder was a couple of dollars at Wal-Mart. I left the label on in one of the pictures so you can see what it is.
When it isn't being used it fits nicely in the glove box.

Are you the passenger, or the driver?

That's where I installed mine too, and I'll report back 'what my wife says' when she sees it!

That's a nice one, but what happens if you have to hit your brakes hard when there's a big gulp in the holder? Does the whole thing go flying to soak the fuse compartment?

I am the driver, there is rarely a passenger in the car.

The holder is tapered and fits very snuggly, I don't think that a hard brake would dislodge it. It also does not deform the bolster in any way. Give it a try, take it back if you're not happy with it. At least the price is right.

Dave

FWIW I have the single one and IMO it works well, no problem during hard braking, as others have said I rarely have a passenger in this car so I wedge it in tight up against the passenger seat.

My wife usually drives and I am not the smallest guy around, but figure might as well try it for the few pennies it costs. Cars pretty much parked for the winter, so will see how it works in the spring.
