You could be very right about that. It's a shade that is at that point where the look to the eye is of a VERY dark gray but if that's the paint's pigment or a result of the heavy amount of metallic flake in it is a point of debate.

I spent two weeks looking at one, and for me nothing about it is gray. It is black metallic and a gorgeous color. I don't like the interior of the car, the silver looked bad when I was looking at one and it had relatively low miles. Black interior would improve the car or Black and Red would look a lot better IMHO.

You can find cars that are less money with less miles I guess. I would stay away from the dark colors because of the area I live in. Have dealt with Black cars in our dust bowl conditions and will never do it again. But you would have one of the rarest of the Sky fleet for sure. Personally I would rank it second behind the Ruby Red metallic. I have never been a fan of the Hydro Blue color, as it reminds me of the 1970's when everyone was painting their Chevelles Tijuana Blue. I know most love the color so I am in the minority.

The car is worth what the seller and buyer agree on. Personally I would not sell mine for double that price. And have been offered near that amount.

Good timing on this thread...I have a 2008 Redline black/black/black with 18,000 miles that's stock except for a Trifecta tune. Just took it out of storage and was thinking about selling and at what price. NADA and Kelly Blue Book aren't much help...at this point I'd be happy with $11,000.

OK, I believe I was the one who was trying to entice the OP'er to tell us more about the Redline he was considering, when I tried a drawn-in by mentioning the Carbon Flash.

As for a price on the car he is considering (if that is what he is looking for) I'm not sure we can do any more until we get some information about the car under consideration. Sorry about taking the discussion off on the CF car.

All Skys are special, but Carbon Flash is one of the rarer colors.

So I'm trying to attach a copy of the global connect I got from the seller. Let me know what you think of car and his firm 16k price. Anything special about it other than it's 15000 miles. Thanks
