I also had him spray the upper grille behind the chrome trim so it matches the nice gloss black hood grilles.

I really like the lines of these two pieces and it's getting a lot more looks by my my fellow car enthusiasts.

whats the name of the front bumper

I forget what SLP calls it. It's just the front fascia. You can find it in sale for under $100 unpainted every once in a while.

Per this thread's title, it's the RKSport Front Valance. $205.75 on their site.

Valance, air dam, fascia are all acceptable terms.

It isn't a splitter. This is a splitter:

The difference is in their function in trying to accomplish similar goals.

A front air dam is designed to sit lower to the ground thus allowing less air to move under the car at speed. A splitter prevents air from striking the front of the car and then moving under it.

The main way to tell the difference is a splitter looks like a "shelf" sticking out from the lower edge of the bumper. A part that is considered just an air dam (or fascia or whatever else it may be called) like this RKSport piece will not have this protrusion.

I believe Norm's splitter (the picture above) would be considered an air dam (as it will sit lower to the ground than the stock bumper) and a splitter (because it has the protrusion at the lower lip).
