I have no idea what you're saying. Could you add some words in there please?

OK, I got the following as a private message from Roadmaster... obviously a man of few words!

Quote:
Coolant low on DIC replaced w/ new reservoir
Still get DIC message put a jumper across the connection and Dic goes away
SO, @ROADMASTER, from this I'm extrapolating that you were getting a 'low coolant' warning. and it went away after you jumpered across the connector to the coolant level switch on the coolant reservoir. Then you replaced the coolant bottle (presumably w/new switch) and still have the low coolant warning(?)

If this is correct, my immediate response would be: are you sure you have enough coolant? The level should be up to at least the molding join line on the bottle, or a bit above.

To confirm we are talking about the same thing, see the pic below. This shows a level that's maybe a bit overfull, but OK:

Thank you, Soup, for clearing that up. I would make the same assumptions as you. I think many of us have experienced a Low Coolant light when stopping hard on a hill with a nose down attitude.

The switch may be over-sensitive, or, there may be a fault in the wiring elsewhere between the switch and the device reading the switch.

YMMV
