"Saturn sky trunk bags
Looking for a used set in good condition, or dimensions of each bag to have a set made." ~~ 3/23/19

"Sky trunk bags
Does any one have or know where I can get the dimentions of the 3 bag set? Looking to make my own. Thanks." ~~ 3/30/19

This is your 3rd post looking for these.
What exactly are you looking for?

Some SATURN dealerships had this one for sale.

SATURN did not make a "3 bag set" for the trunk.

Kappasphere vendor offered this 2-bag set back in the day.

Then there's this grouping offered by some outfit called "Roadtrip Luggage."

SKY 3-Bag Set
Not sure if they're still available.

Don't forget that the Skys have hinge supports in the rear that are missing on the Solstices. Solstice luggage might not work in a Sky.

My Kappasphere luggage won't work well in a Sky because of those supports.

YMMV

I have this set--bought it some years back, now. They fit and work well, I really like them. Recommended if you can still find them for sale.

I have a set of the luggage, for the Sky. Not much leather on them if I remember correctly.

If there truly is interest in them, my friend can make them. He did my interior and @Robotech s. Cutting the first one is the problem, but once the pattern is made it is just stitching it up.

I would guess 5 to 10 sets would make it worth his while. He made a leather bag to hold my Euro type Wind Deflector. It looked very professional.

Let me know and I will take my set down and have him look at it, see what he would want to make them.

Surprise surprise, he wasn't there Saturday. He was supposed to fix the seat in my FJ. Will try to run him down tomorrow.

That is a great find Rusty.

That is a fantastic price and they look good.

I talked with my guy and he said most likely 200.00 with embroidered Sky logo. If he had 5 to 10 to do. Maybe less if numbers were greater. We are talking a well known name in the custom car and street rod world. I stopped today to see him and he was working on a seat for a 32 Ford. Absolutely fantastic work.

I have a three piece Sky set up, but it is minuscule. I also have two sets of the Kappasphere sets, never realized that. I don't think we have ever used them. Make me an offer on all four of the Kappashere bags.

Yeah, this thread topic seems to come up and a 30 sec google of saturn sky luggage always takes you road trip luggage - or an ebay site selling them.

https://www.roadtripluggage.com/satu...ece-basic-set/

They have been selling them for a loooooooongggggg time now. Good reviews. Occasionally sell out, but so far have always restocked.

To lazy but a search here will turn up this same link...

This topic is worst then tires.. I mean at least tire's change over time, Road trip luggage is currently the only source and has been for a long time and shows up on a google search right at the top..... ok off grumpy old man soap box.. I mean I know this younger generation doesn't understand this internet thingy or how to google.

Oh and since folks don't know how to google, I'll assume they cant read to the bottom of that page...

Now if you want top up storage. They sell a 2 bag side storage also. ... Tease im giving you the pic... you have to search there site for the item..

Man I am in a pissy mood today..
I wonder if there might exist some like global retail store.. maybe just an online place where **** is sold.. it would be AMAZing... If such a place existed I bet you could not find sky luggage there.

Hmmmm...might like a five piece set like that. Would rather have @skersfan's guy do up a set though. Nice custom work.

It could be, but the large one fits in the center perfectly. All three together they are the size of small suitcase. Now that I look at them, I think you are right. The other two, I really don't know what they are. But they all came together with a small purse like thing the wife likes. I think we have used it once on an overnight run to Palm Springs.

I don't want to sell the Sky set. But I would not replicate these, too small. Now the other half says she might want to keep the four bag set, but personally I think they might be too large if filled. No idea how I ended up two sets of the Kappasphere sets. I went to their shop before it closed and I bought some stuff, but don't remember them. Had no idea we had them until the wife pulled them out of the closet. lol

I think the set Rusty put up is the way to go personally.
