Scratched Auto Shift Knob

I scratched off a small section on the top of my auto shift knob. My fingernail just barely grazed it, so be careful as it seems a little flimsy/cheap.

I will post a pic later.

I would take it to the dealer to get it replaced. It should not be that "flimsy". Maybe it was made wrong or the "plastic" chrome was already flawed.

It's not really the plastic chrome, but the top black pleather-like material. Think like a cheap day planner or wallet.

Ooh, disappointing. Thanks for the heads up, though. I agree with Turk that you should at least give the dealer a chance to fix it. You never know. I'll have to be extra careful with mine.
