I bought some more parts:

1. DDM WORKS-Pro-Beam--on sale woo hoo!
2. Dejon Powerhouse-Aluminum Intake Pipe with AEM filter
3. Dejon Powerhouse-Lower Intake Pipe

Still need to install the other items (Halo's HID's etc).

I am going to need to have an install party at my house for the day to get all this snazzy stuff installed.

Enjoy your weekend!

Washed, Polished, and Waxed her, then took her for a ride with top-down. She looks just like she did from the showroom.

Maintenance

Hi, my today`s menu.
1 Oil and element change
2 Plugs change
3 Roof adjust etc
But somehow, I checked old spark plug gap what different each gaps.
Is this natural ?
New plugs gap was 0.03, but old one was 0.027.
Somebody knows this reason, tell me.

They changed the plug and recomended gap some time in 2008
AC Delco 41-108s are the latest plug [and their eqivolents]
And the recommended gap is .032
All 8 of the plugs I recently bought were at that gap and my car did not like it when I tried to move it to .035 [per some recomendations i read] but I have an aftermarket turbo and tune.
So I'm back to .032

Hmmmm. So if somebody has the GMPP or Wester's tunes for example, would the car run better with a gap different from original stock? I should probably search but am lazy this morning and don't remember this issue being covered in those amazingly long threads on tunes from 08' and 09'.

White Manual RL w/ Tan Top/Seats; GMPP Tune; Solo HF Cat/Mach; Foose Nitrous 20" wheels; Dejon IC/ pipes/intake/elbow; DDM Calipers/Backbone/Pro-beam; many JPM tan alcantara accents

I had gmpp before the 2871 upgrade and ran .032 gap.
Aftermarket tunes can differ. Go with what your tuner recommends

Installed a WR with purple lights and purple fender vent lights I got my wife for Christmas. Probably gonna have to find a new hot wire for the fender lights. After I got done got a traction control and ABS warning light and message to check the computer :-(. Not sure if my choice of wires casued this or not.

Cheers,

Spanky

Thanks Marvic. I was trying to stay close to keep the wiring hidden (i'm a stickler for clean wiring). I'll have the codes cleared first and see if they return, if so then I'll rewire.

Cheers,

Spanky
