Off to drive the car a hundred miles or so. Fuel pump made a difference, but the performance suffered. But no popping or crackling. No bogging, but not quite what it was before the change. I am buying a new fuel pump and it will be installed this week. A slow/weeping oil leak at the lower cooling line of the turbo. Will have to pull the turbo and get this fixed also. Will drive the car a couple more times and if everything is right, we will have it tuned one more time. Thanks Ellf for all your help.

Bought these convertible top plastic clips when I realized why the flaps don't seem to go up when closing the top.

I used a flexible primer for automotive plastic then laid down 4 coats of dupli-color automotive paint. Wet sanded down to 3000 grit paper in-between each coat then 5 coats of automotive clear again wet sanding to 3000 grit paper each time. Buffed the finished piece. Mine is as smooth and shiny as an injection molded piece of plastic. For the wet sanding I start with 1000 grit go to 2000 and finish with 3000. Takes a bit of time but the end result is worth it.

Yep, same for us across the lake in Ontario. Was thinking last weekend of getting the car out of storage. I guess I'll wait a couple of more weeks.

Well it still doesn't run right, but doing some other things to the car.

Got the Air Bag sensor redone today. The tape failed in less than 100 miles with someone in the seat, that would be skinny little @Robotech.

Put the Big Brake set up on.

Put the GMPP power brake booster on.

Installed the Opel GT tail lights

@skersfan Those Opel tail lights came out looking better on your car than I had ever imagined! They look sick as hell with the amber top lights and your yellow paint! DAMN...so nice! Did you tint them a bit? Looks like you did just a little and man, if so, that's spot on! Great look!

Drove it to the dealership.

I drove mine to the local dealership on Monday. I took it into the local dealership a few days ago they improperly jacked it up and cracked the side battery access panel. I pitched a fit and after a couple days they owned up to it. They took it to one of the best body shops in town. So I'm just waiting.

Thank you sir!

I have been setting on them for quite awhile, decided to do a very light smoking of the outside. Just a single pass. I don't know that I am in love with them, but they are on for a while. I think I am going to take the LED out of the bottom part. Seem to flash just a little quick, and my guess is it is the LED causing it. It will look really kool when we get the light bar doing the yellow turn signals.

We could do some load balancers to fix that but I didn't think the lower part flashed on the Opel lights????

I just don't like seeing the LED's thru the red. Think a standard bulb would end up looking better. Will mess with it later though

Need to know if PAW has the Turbo oil cooling return line to the crank case. Standard one, not with the fittings, one that will just slip thru the Orings.

My RL didnít come with the monsoon system, so I purchased a new old stock monsoon subwoofer and corresponding back panel with sub cutout / mesh. Swapped over my Midnight Blue waterfall to new rear panel. Pulled the seats & carpet and installed insulation / sound deadener on entire floor, tunnel and rockers in preparation for new speakers, amp & sub. I finally had access, so I cleaned my seatbelt retractors and now they actually retract. Removed the carpet in the boot and will install sound deadener in that area tomorrow. I apologize, I failed to take pics, as I was in a wee bit of a time crunch to complete this while wifey is out of town and I have the entire garage to myself.

When Iím done, Iíll have a rear panel w/ working factory dual cup holder for sale. Iíll list it on the sale thread with pics in a few days, unless someone wants it now and PMís me.
