Finally pulled the trigger!

Just ordered my Dejon IC pipes in Aggressive red with TBE, Tbolt clamps and polished Turbo cover (a little over the top but just looked so shinyyyy)

I've been debating for a bit which method to use to install bluetooth into my '07, and for a while I had settled on replacing the vcim. In the end I decided I didn't want to lose OnStar (even though I don't use it...), I have no use for seeing the phone number on the radio since the only two numbers I even recognize are my own and my mom's, and really wasn't overly concerned about using the steering wheel controls as opposed to a separate controller, but I still wanted the bluetooth to run through the speakers, so I decided on the Parrot CK3000 module. Installation was a little more time-consuming than I expected, mainly because I had no idea now to remove the radio and spent a LONG time trying to research that info before I finally found it.

So...the Parrot box is tucked up under the steering column area, the mic is at the top left corner of my windshield, and the control buttons I routed to the little space between the pass. air bag light and the traction control button. Running the wire through it does make that trim piece stick out a tad bit, but it's barely noticeable (I briefly considered drilling a small hole so it would all sit flush but quickly discarded that idea). Actually looks really good there I think, esp considering how cluttered my dash is already:

Bluetooth works great, it's pretty awesome to finally talk completely hands-free through the car speakers (and I won't miss any more calls because I either can't hear the phone ring or can't get to it right then!), and have my text messages read aloud to me.

That's funny, I went this exact way first! Then changed it out for the VCIM idea (and lost OnStar ). I wanted the steering wheel controls primarily, which is why I changed.

By the way - I have a little-used Parrot CK3000 for sale if anyone would like it

Yeah, I have decided on the stereo i want, to get Bluetooth and audio/video from my phone. It just came out 3 days ago. The problem is all the damn harnesses we need. It's going to cost more for them and the stereo!

Nice! I wondered what this would look like. Could I suggest doing the same to the windshield frame? Would complete the look!

(also I just wanted to see how it looked on someone else's car first LOL)

There is only two that will interface with the IPhone 5 since its digital video. The new Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS. It has an HDMI in. It's gonna be sweet.

That's nice.
I see it's compatible with Waze GPS which I have been playing with lately.
I also use Dashcommand

Be interesting to see what other apps get into the compatable list in the future.
