Our neighbors had a friend who a 2007 black Sky with auto and black mouse fur seats. My first Sky came with the leather. I'd prefer the cloth as I now have to wring out my shirt after driving for 45 minutes with the top down.

Like everything else ... "it depends".

The stock sub is an 8-incher and quite shallow, so if yours is larger/deeper, then you may have to modify the factory sub box and possibly the waterfall too. At the very least you are likely to have to fabricate an adapter ring to mount it.

The real question is, does the end result justify switching it? I mean ok, not like we have Fiat Puntos or Smart cars that go around with the bass at max.......

You do know that the GT doesn't have the Opel insignia on the interior cover of the doors right? Just saying cause it looks......Strange? I don't like going overboard, reminds me of some cars that have their name with HUGE letters on the sides :P

He does. They also don't have yellow interior as an option. LOL

Think of Skersfan's car as a modified Opel GT...

Would that be in the same way that "other" car is a modified Ferrari?

Pretty much. Though Skersfan's car is closer to being an Opel than the other car is to being a Ferrari...LOL

Opinions are like a..holes, everyone has one! I personally think adding the insignia is a tasteful addition that I wish I would have thought of when I recovered my door panels! Nice touch Skersfan

If i wanted to make my GT look like the Redline you'd be correct. However i never felt the need to do that, i got an Opel, end of the story. Also like i said there are people who like going overboard, you see them all the time. Why would i need a reminder outside of my car for example about which model i have? Or inside the car about which brand my car is? Don't i know? Now if i was to add something more.....Unique into the mix sure (for example a Captain America color theme or anything that you don't see a lot) but adding Opel GT (some have added the side chrome markings inside the cabin as well) or Opel or Saturn or Sky Redline etc etc, well seems like a waste of time and money in my book.
Still people are different with different tastes so i am not judging, just pointing out that the Opel GT doesn't have the Opel insignia inside the doors (as for the color well ok others have placed white leather inside, again preferences).
