Mike, my apologies. I was upset and frustrated after a long day of setbacks and your innocent humor was just ill timed.
Again, sorry for my comments.

APOLOGY ACCEPTED...just remember, when something is published on the forum, it becomes public and no personalization should be taken as GOSPEL. My comment was only a JOKE...since u went on with all computer downloads...

Mike is like the big angry bear, that truly wants to cuddle with you. Some of his comments are harsh, but I promise you, if you ask for his his help, he will give it without question. Good guy, just misunderstood. lol

Oh and for the record my vote is still that he doesn't have a cal file yet.

Actually from everything I have read, not sure why anyone would think he has one. He said he doesn't have a file with his VIN in the title and is missing the third file.

Once you get the cal file, its really a pretty easy install.

I think so. I got the confirmation email (with EZ Flash installer) just about 2 days after paid. I thought I saw somewhere it can take way longer to get the final calibration file?

It can take a long time to get the calibration file and that is probably the hold up. Without that you really don't have anything.

I think you're right but what is strange is that confirmation email? Is that typical?

UPDATE! I spoke to Michael @ Trifecta and they forgot to post the calibration file, the notice came in my email and on my Trifecta a/c page but the cal file was somehow left off.
We're all good now, phew! Thanks Jim, Robotech, davhamm, skersfan and others!

Hopefully I can have smooth....but FAST sailing from here!

Thanks Jim, you called it right.

UPDATE!

I think I got the tune loaded. Having failed to load it on a few attempts, when you click on the blue EZ Flash installer more than once, you get a new option to either, "modify, repair or remove". I had to obviously choose "modify or repair".....I think I choose "repair". Then I launched the EZ Flash from the start menu and uploaded the calibration file.
After that it took about 20-25 minutes as predicted.

I took the car for a spin but in evening rush hour traffic I did not really feel a difference. I'll take it for a real run on Saturday and look for higher boost to confirm the tune was loaded.
