Sky, Opel, Daewoo, Solstice, parts and memorabilia collection up for sale.

I'm selling most of my collection of rare Solstice, Sky, Opel GT and Daewoo G2X parts and memorabilia collection. These are new or in some cases new/used pilot parts from the assembly process. I plan to sell the parts by model groups. Daewoo listings will be only contain Daewoo parts and so on. Of special interest is a huge 2006 Solstice dealer floor sign that was on display at the GM Wilmington Delaware assembly plant's 2008 Mecca Tour. It was by the bleachers where most of the Mecca Tour visitors were asked to sign it. I brought it and another like it from the 2007 Mecca Tour to the 2014 NASSM meet in Bushkill Pa. I was the guest speaker and many of the items I displayed there will be sold.
Beggining this Thursday, Feb 8, 2017 I'll begin listing these items on EBAY over several weeks. My EBAY user name is RUNNINGJUNK, so search it for my items. (I had misspelled my user name. It's now correct) Most will be a ten day auctions always starting Thursday night and ending Sunday night. Others will be buy it now. It's time to pass these on to those who can use or display them.
Here's a partial list: Daewoo: G2X front fascia bright bar, rear fascia large oval emblem and small G2X emblem. Opel: front fascia bright bar, L & R repeater lights for front fascia, Opel Blitz circle, Opel GT and “turbo” emblems for rear fascia. Sky: front fascia bright bar. Solstice: a used “First 1000” dash emblem used in pilot production tryout. Front turn signals. Pontiac Arrow emblems, possible pilot spoiler. Memorabilia: Solstice: First 1000 Red Box with 2006 Solstice brochure pictures, dealer advertising, special large posters, etc. Assembly plant items: Wilmington's 60th anniversary poster featuring the Solstice and the first 1947 Pontiac made there, etc. Please take a look even if you don't need anything. It will be a visual history lesson on KAPPA cars. Thank you.

I love the Opel GT Turbo badges as they never made it though to the production model.

Shame it has to be sold.

They made production (GT TURBO) but after a few months Opel/Germans decided they should be left off. I was told they didn't like them. We stopped installing them. We had to remove ones on cars awaiting shipment at the plant. In Europe they removed all of them. Then for 2009 they wanted the GT back but revised for the front fenders! So they returned. Go figure.

I'm selling them so they can be used and shown. I'll never use them. They just stay in boxes collecting duct. Time for a better home.

Well, that's my plan. LOL People already don't know what it is anyway. Daewoo will really confuse the hell out of them.

I know where there are two sets, and I have a passenger side mirror. I would part with the passenger side one. lol

Depends on the pricing, I told Stan I would take the Turbo logos for sure, but I am not into setting around watching EBay. I will look if I remember, but not going to get into a bidding war for them.

I don't want to deal with that either but if I have to, I have to.

The more I spend on the Skpel the less I have for trains.

I would assume he will split them up, if he does, I will go in half with you for the Opel/Daewoo parts. I really don't think Ebay will be the best place to sell those parts. The Solstice stuff will go quickly, but most people don't even know about the other two. The guy that bought the Mallett had no idea about Sky's even being made. He is an old car guy. Was very surprised when he saw the yellow car in the back ground.

I found one sky grill bar. That was it. He goes by Marrk or something on the Solstice board.
