John, do you expect this approach to have the normal view image lines of the sides, depth lines green, yellow, and red to guide the backing vehicle driver? In my experience, I think I would be lost without those guiding lines. Also, I have my camera tipped down giving me a closer view to the rear of my vehicle, but just a personal preference. With that idea, does your license plate camera have tilting capabilities? Just some thoughts.

My Equinox doesn't have the lines, so I have never gotten used to having them. That said, this camera does have two lines, although I don't know how they relate to the actual track of the car. They obviously do not warp to match the steering input, so they only work for backing in a straight line. The camera does have a tilt adjustment.

I wouldn't expect the 2.5 GHz transceiver to pick up a 10.5 GHz radar signal, but it certainly might. It is definitely something to check, so I will take it around to a few shopping centers before I do any installation.
