Maintainence

Howdy everyone. Been forever and a day since I logged in here! I've moved down to the area just south of Baltimore, MD and I'm looking for a decent mechanic.

One shop I tried seems to not be able from causing ground faults. Three times to the shop, three weird electrical issues. The shop that installed my super charger in NJ finally traced down the bad ground. Wire was connected to body right by the SC mounting. The last time I brought it back to the MD shop ... yep same issue. Same loose ground my NJ shop found!

Anyway, she's deadlined right now. I can't get her back to NJ without an expensive tow.

Who would you fine folks trust to work on a super-charged Sky in the Baltimore-DC area?

Thanks
-LB

Hi there, i love my Sky, but i have a problem, and no one seems to be able to help.
Has anyone out there had leaking issues with the passenger floorboard? Supposudly, there is no problem(i've had it checked out at the dealer) but, every time it rains, my passenger floor gets sopping wet. I'm so frustrated! I'd appreciate any ideas, if y'all have any :-)

Yep, DDM is great. That's where I got the SC from originally. They helped my shop in NJ track down the faulty ground. They are too far to tow however.

Thanks for the tip, but I need someone in MD not only to get her back up and running, but for regular maintainence as well.

Try CarTalk.com. There are reviews there for mechanics in most areas. Mechanics Files | Car Talk
