I figure we can meet at the plant around 3:00 to 3:30pm, with a FIRM departure time of 4:00pm, to give is time to get over to the restaurant, park, etc. for our 5:00PM dinner reservation.

Anyone meeting at the plant will still be responsible for getting themselves to the restaurant in the event the daisy chain of cars gets too long, gets separated at a traffic light, etc. So please be prepared to navigate based on a set of written instructions and/or have a GPS with the restaurant addressed programmed in as a back-up. Thank you!

Well, I checked the weather forecast for Saturday, and it looks like it will be clear and cold with 0% chance of precip. So it should be a beautiful night to drive through the lights display - just be sure to dress warm for the drive over to the lights display - we'll be doing about 20 miles over to the lights display top-down.

Here is the game plan:

For those who would like to do a short drive before dinner, meet at the parking lot next to the Wilmington Plant between 3:00pm and 3:30pm. We will depart PROMPTLY at 4:00pm for a modified Piggy Bowl Run over to the Restaurant.

Dinner is at 5:00pm, at Manny Hattan's, 847 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA.

After dinner, we will head down Route 1 to the Lights Display at the Herr's Factory, 20 Herr Drive, Nottingham, PA. As I mentioned above, it is about a 20 mile drive, which we will do top down, so have appropriate outerwear for the drive.

See you all Saturday!!!!!

Hey

I looked at the list of people attending and I have one passenger coming as well. I said it further up in the discussion but it probably got lost somewhere. (c:

I'm really excited to meet everyone this weekend!

This is an informative Hijack...don't be mad Diane. I went to have my oil changed today...the service tech stated that the 29lbs in our tires is just for the optimum ride that GM puts on for your suspension...he stated that it should be much higher...so we agreed to let it go to 36 PSI....for those who have the 2.4L engine, this will increase your MPG and tire life. Saturday

High: 40*
Low: 28*

30% chance of snow flurries after dark.

It's our first chance of snow for the year they are saying.

Dress Real Warm! The drive thru part for the lights will only take about 5-10mins, but since it's free, can always go thru it a few times if you are crazy enough.

ACK! You're right. Somehow missed that one.

I've added her to the list.

I'm pretty sure they've had a home the whole time. When last we spoke, Karen's issues hadn't changed.

Ok, just so everyone doesn't think I'm playing the "OOoooh, look at me I'm a surprise guest" game... I am really trying to get there Saturday.

It all hinges on whether or not my parents have a ride to the airport Sunday morning @ 3:00 am. Either way I will have to return home after the lights in order to be home to take care of our variety of animals. In which case, I will be making Reed come with me.

As it stands right now, I will most probably be car pooling with Reed. That is of course if he can put up with me for that many hours straight!
