Mike,
I will bring a heating lamp and some old pans. Call in your order and I will pick it up three hours early place it under the heating lamp sprinkle some dust on it and then place each portion in a seperate dish and make a table for you.. You can then pretend that your at a buffet and we can all be happy

Well, my original efforts were to find a restaurant closer to the lights display, but from what I can tell the restaurants in the local area are not really large enough to accomodate a party of our size.

Since most of us are familiar with Wilmington due to the plant being located there, and the fact that it is a large enough town to have a greater selection of restaurants able to fit us, we moved our hunt for a dinner location there.

Hope that helps explain things.

Well, it looks like the place Drgolf found is quite promising. And Kennett Square should be a fairly short and easy drive to the lights display (about 20 miles straight down Rte. 1 if we decide to stick to the major roadways)

This would also give us the advantage of possibly doing a short run from Wilmington to Kennett Square before dinner.

If all goes well I will check it out tomorrow and have someplace confirmed by Monday.

Heck, we have a hard time keeping a smaller number of cars together in a group in full daylight.
We might need the "JEDI" to lead the way using "THE FORCE"

The new place looks pretty good Dr. Boob! Except for the picture of the pannini.

Diane, don't sweat a 30 car caravan. There's enough people who have GPS - set up the order line in the parking lot so that those without can follow someone who has the directions.

Just shut up and drive.

Oh, I don't have a problem with the caravan from Manny Hattan's to the lights display. Two traffic lights to get through then 20 miles of freeway down Route 1. That drive should be nice and easy.

But there is no way I would do a caravan from a restaurant in NJ for over 100 miles, through countless towns, through toll booths, etc. Way too many opportunities to lose cars that way, especially after dark.

Marlboromike will just have to plan his own luncheon at the Buffet in NJ - perhaps as a farewell before he and his Sky head south for the winter.
