Well, I have no problem using my old printer that was previously hooked up to my old Windows XP based desk top with my Vista based laptop. I just plug the laptop in and it prints.

I'm pretty sure that MMike's printer is dot-matrix and it uses ribbon instead of an ink cartridge...

He has a hard time finding paper with all the little holes on the side...

You got lucky Diane..i called HP and they said they would help me for 40 dollars since it was out of warranty (Printer)...so I went for one of those all in one Printer/Fax and Scanner...$119.00 including shipping. A BARGAIN

I believe being OLD is synonymus with ANCIENT....by the way, these new computers have no place for a floppy disc. I had to buy an external floppy disc...how is that for being ANCIENT...love my old programs saved on floppys

I remember in High School in the computer class we had these punch card machines and then you loaded the cards into another machine which did the printing, talk about ancient
