Let me know, I'll attend if I can! We didn't really get a chance to talk Star Wars either, so a second chance would be fun lol.

St. Mary's County, a good ways, and yes.

It took me 3 hours to get to Wilmington, going via 301. That should give you an idea of how far away I am, sorta. There was no traffic that early in the morning though, so I made great time.

Getting there was a cakewalk. Heck, I was the only car on the southern span of the Bay Bridge! Since it was so early in the morning, almost all of the traffic lights were working completely off of the sensors in the pavement, the few red lights I encountered turned green after I pulled up.

As for the return journey...

...Let's just say the return journey took way longer than 3 hours...ended up being closer to 5. Got stuck in stop-and-go traffic several times, and missed an exit due to a downpour. It was raining so hard I couldn't see more than a few feet in front of my car!

Damn, it was cloudy all the way home...but very little rain, by the time I got home....it was sunny and washed the car, but you made it home safe and that is all that matters!

Yep. I was in self-preservation mode in that storm, and thankfully the SUV in front of me and the pickup behind me were of the same mind...doing about 30 in a 65 zone is interesting, to say the least lol!

Oh, and it ended up washing my car for me! Went from pouring rain to dry pavement, and after air drying the car looked much better than it did at Mecca III. Washed all of those bugs off.

I washed my car when i got home, then I went to a show after. The bugs were not as bad as on the way to and from South Caro;ina Meet....It rained today and postponed a show that I was supposed to attend today, but it has been re-schedule to a date which I will not post, just as well, I wasn't feeling well at all today...

Finally made it home

Just arrived home a few minutes ago (pit stop at the cottage last night for some ATV riding this morning). Just over 2000 Kms this weekend (about 1200 miles), and a ton of fun. Heck, the rain even cleared up (just like Ronzer predicted), and I got some top-down driving from Niagara Falls up to Parry Sound.

It was great to see you all again (and meet new friends as well). Sign me up for next year.
