Pocono Speedway: Drive your own car! NO SPEED LIMITS!!!
Finally a northeast track is offering this!
Stock Car Driving School, Stock Car Racing Training, PA, Pennsylvania, Go garts PA, Kart Racing PA, Pocono Raceway, Stock Car Racing Experience

Car must be teched in advance, and you need to take a driver's class... which can be done the morning of.

Current dates are:
June 24th, July 22nd and Sept 7th Labor Day 2009

I am signing up now for June.

The one I posted for, is the 2.5 mile full track. And there is no speed limit. The miata one doesnt really mention it at all.
Admittedly tho... at $500+ for the stock car program, then another $300 for the "ride your own car".. well, thats kinda pricey

These people also do reasonably priced events at Pocono and Lime Rock. I started checking it out online last week, but my ADD got the best of me.

I noticed this statement on the sample Tech Sheet in regards to Roll Bars. Does the mean the Sky does not qualify?

"All open cars and soft tops must have adequate roll bars. The deployable roll bars or a factory hard top are adequate."

I was looking for that wording... had a feeling...

Well, not that I was going to plunk it all down, but the good thing is it saves me 900+ bucks.
