So glad that you decided to join us. I don't think the weekend would have been the same without you there. Who else would we have laughed at for 3 days??

I gotta give a special 'thanks' to NCBlue...she 'found' me at a rest stop in Statesville & got me to the resort, let me borrow a radio for the weekend & kept me from being a complete moron out there. (yes, I was an incomplete moron this weekend) Thanks, Rhonda!

& thanks to Rusty for hooking me up with a radio after I let the batteries die overnight in NCBlue's radio!

Hangin' on the Zip and zippin' in the Sky

My co-driver and I would like to thank those who put this "totally awesome" weekend together. I saw a ruby red Sky NA on the way to work this morning and made me sick for the hills and twisties. We enjoyed getting to meet everyone and hope this is not the last of the Southeast getting together. June is too far away!

Brian (Evl-Twn) and I, got home safely. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for continuing to welcome me as part of the Sky/Solstice family even though I moved up to the vette. I will always love the Skys and Solstices. You are now officially my "ducklings." Momma duck loves all her babies. I thought a lot on my drive home- many hours to think- and I would like to continue to try to keep this run going. Lee- Solsticewolf- if you are out there send me a message on Facebook. I would like to try to do something next year, not sure if it will be as formal as in the past, but I would like to try to have a weekend where everyone can continue to get together and have some fun running the roads. As soon as my vacation bidding goes live, I hope to get a weekend free and then will post this weekend. I can continue to get shirts made up, if people would like that, and I am thinking of potentially changing hotel location to Townsend, TN thereby putting us closer to more restaurants, mini golf, go-carts activities in the evenings. I could even reserve a nice restaurant for us all to go to dinner on our last night together- no official banquet as that would be too hard for me alone to do, but I could get a restaurant lined up in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg where we could all go for a good time. If this sounds like something everyone would be interested in, please let me know. Thanks

Great Weekend!

We would like to thank all of you for making us feel like we have been part of the group a long time. Wahoo!, the zipline line was great. But the driving was awesome. Had a great time. Thanks to the organizers for making everything run like clockwork. Hope everyone made it home safe.

Appygirl:

Definitely interested in next year. Couldn't make it this year because cottage week, Niagara Cruise, Mid-Ohio and Dragon were all on the same weekend. I worked it out where I could hit 2 out of 4, but no Dragon or Mid-Ohio this year for me

Hopefully next year works out better.

2007 Sky Red-Line, Midnight Blue, Opel GT Antenna, JPM console, visors & elbow pads, GMPP PUpgrade, T-Bolt Clamps, DDM ProBeam/Backbone, 1st DDM Under-Hood LED on a Sky!
