Thanks mbleigh for the reply.

Your Sky is beautiful. We are getting very anxious to get some word on ours. Seems like it is taking forever.

Thanks! Don't worry, just when you are ready to get a gun and take a trip to the dealership, poof! you get a call.

Go for it!

I would really like to see you get a club going in your central KY. There are a lot of great roads in your area and some neat places to visit. Our SW Ohio group would love to join you and Vise Versa. Keep in mind that the central Kentucky area is not that densely populated so getting a group of just Skys may prove difficult. I would suggest that you include Solstices. For every 100 roadsters, there is just 2% or 3 %who will be interested in joining a car club, so that narrows down the potential signifcantly. I will be glad to forward on to JRinKY any one that I get in contact with from down south. In the meantime come up and drive with us. Good luck with your endeavor.

I added the Central KY Kappa Club to the formational list of clubs at:
https://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7363

I also like the idea of adding Solstices, but I feel that if a club is "social" enough, you can get much better than 2-3%. In Phoenix, we have about 60 paid members and about 100 more owners in the state that have subcribed to our events email list. I am guessing that 30% of the local owners are at least interested in what we are doing, although only 10% have actually paid dues to join. One key is to hold lots of different kinds of events of interest to all kinds of people. Last weekend, several of the women in our club went to a crafts festival together, and this week, we had an impromptu mid-week coffee/dinner event, and 12 cars showed up for the 30 minute ride before dinner (three of which had never joined us before). Our club president has a motto for the club: "I wanna drive somewhere and eat something" and that pretty much defines what we are all about.

Of course. All you need is the right equipment and a good attitude.

We are calling the group a Kappa Club, it has been intended from the beginning to include both of the twins (or even all three of the triplets).
