I discovered this when I went around a corner and a GALLON of COLD FREEEEZING WATER was dumped on my feet all at once. That may have been the closest I have ever come to having an accident that I caused.
can that happen on a sky? I'm in socal so no freezing water !

ThreeFiddy,

There is a Sky/Solstice club run this Sunday. It is down in San Diego on the Mexican border. Sounds like it is going to be pretty long, they are allowing over 5 hours driving time. So if you figure over 100 miles down and back, you get the idea. I can get you the information if you like. It will be a very long day, as you have to drive back on Sunday evening around 6pm if you eat with the group.

I keep batting around the idea of going but I don't think Jamie's back would be up for that kind of trip and with me being gone all last weekend with autocross and stuff and then the build in two weeks I think I'm going to spend a bit of time with her. ThreeFiddy coming down from Torrance would be a hell of a day for him.

I think you may need to organize a Mulholland drive ThreeFiddy! God I loved that but Skersfan probably wouldn't go unless it was during the week.

You can cross me off that list for sure. Never doing it again. Way too dangerous for other people on the road. Too old for that stuff, and have been a cyclist for too long to see anything about it I liked.

Your not going to get many from San Diego people to LA is my guess, we have enough problems getting them up here for our run.

I think we are going Sunday, driving the Blue car. But I am guessing by the time it is done it will be over 400 miles and close to the 500 mark for us. We are not staying for the dinner under any circumstance, will be headed home by 3pm at the latest.
