WCKCC Lunch at Discovery Bay

Hi, I was thinking that maybe we could get a lunch together and was thinking about the Boardwalk Grill on the water in Discovery Bay. I have two dates in mind and was thinking we would go with the majority for this date. I have Sunday October 13th or Saturday October 19th. Just lunch on the water and maybe a short drive for ice cream, let me know what you think. Barbara

Delta Cruise for the WCKCC??

Sounds good Simon. I also wanted to suggest maybe a delta cruise. Here are the specifics
You can do a lunch cruise a couple of different ways...

1) You could do a two hour cruise and then return to the Boardwalk Grill Restaurant in Discovery Bay for Lunch/dinner for $49.95pp. That includes your cruise, dinner, and your dinner tax and tip.

2) You could do a two hour cruise for $29.95pp (15 person min and 35 people max) and bring food aboard to eat on the cruise. You can also have the food catered from anywhere you want and I know the Boardwalk Grill caters a lot of our cruises, but you could use anyone you want.

3) You could do a longer cruise and cruise somewhere for lunch and back. Every hour over the first two hours is a flat fee of $150 per hour regardless of how many people are on the boat.

You can pay a $50 corking fee and you can bring your own alcoholic drinks on-board, or we can sell alcoholic drinks and you don't pay the corking fee.

Hope that gives you an idea. We can do just about anything.

Bad news.
I smoked the ACT DN4-HDSS clutch on The Awesome Powar (SRT-4) last weekend in Stinson Beach.

Good news.
Ann is going to The Russian River next weekend on the 12th, not the 19th as thought.
But she's going to a play in SF on the 19th.
Meaning Skywalker will be available for me to use on the 19th.

Let us know which option has been decided and where to send the chequeue please.

And thanks for arranging this for us all Barbara!

The date for this run is Sunday Oct 13 TH

With Barbara being on a cruise this last week. She had a call to the resturant owner. She will find out this week and relay the final count of people and cars. People are leaning towards the boat cruise and dinner#1 on the list. I've booked Our Photo Booth on the 19th. Pete was working up a car run around the area before the Delta river cruise and dinner. I hope this helps. ED

We had to book the 19th because of the Photo Booth. We also are missing our openning game for the Stockton Thunder. They are raising our West Coast Championship Banner Too. Maybe the next run
